“ I have been eating at Il Saraceno since 7 years now, and I always left this place with please, joy and a full satisfaction for what I was served. Bruno is a bit traditional in respect of hid menu, in fact it didn't change that much since I met him the first time. However he tries to respect the seasonality as much as he can. The wine list includes a nice selection of local wineries, surely not all the ones that Abruzzo have but some of them are exceptionally good to dine the exquisite fish-only courses served by Il Saraceno. I strongly advice to book in advance! ”

“ An excellent experience that I absolutely recommend. I opted for the tasting menu, which includes 15 different appetizers divided into 5 raw, 5 cold, and 5 hot, 2 first courses, 1 second course, and a sorbet. The choice of fish and other dishes varies based on availability and is not optional. The cost is €50, excluding drinks and cover charge. This allowed me to sample a wide variety of fish and different preparation methods. Everything was truly delicious and fresh, and even the presentation of the dishes, in their simplicity, was thoughtful and not banal. I accompanied my dinner with a bottle of chilled Testarossa rosé, which I highly recommend. The service was impeccable. The place is spectacular. Since I had a small dog with me, I called ahead to let them know, and they placed me in the smallest and most secluded room, making the dinner even more special. ”

“ Finally, beyond Margazzillo and Ferraioli, we've discovered a few truly noteworthy new seafood restaurants in Abruzzo. A very elegant establishment, decidedly formal, with a distinguished and patient maître d'. We enjoyed top-notch cold and especially hot appetizers, more than excellent risottos and gnocchi, overlooked main courses, and beautiful and delicious desserts. With a bottle of wine, we paid over €60 per person, and that's fine. Next time, we'll try just appetizers and desserts, and maybe we'll upgrade to a 5-star rating. ”
